Question: how come we never hear this on radio in the Northern Hemisphere? Like ever?

Guessing you're in Aus or NZ? I noticed a lot of good music on the radio in Aus during the day that you would never hear here. Saying that, there were a lot of specialist radio stations like Triple J etc. in Aus, which played decent enough music all day every day...

Seeing as AC DC are a "local" band, right enough this awesome song should be getting played all the time...

The first time I ever heard the song Jailbreak was on daytime radio in Australia. At that stage I'd been an AC/DC fan for the guts of twenty years and never even knew the song existed!

I think Jailbreak is possibly one of their best songs.

    Jailbreak is class.

More importantly why don't they play It's a long way live? Eh eh?!

Can't find someone to play the bagpipes maybe?

I doubt finding somebody to willing play it would be the problem... They used to play it without the bagpipes.

Because, as much as i love AC/DC, their set lists must be the most boring on the planet, not for content but for lack of variety.

On the Black Ice tour, it lasted over 2years, over 200 gigs and they only changed it a couple of times

Yeah, the second leg at Download had High Voltage which was cool. And the first leg had Dog eat dog. But apart from that, it's been almost the same set of songs + 1-5 off the new album since Razor's edge.

Doesn't even have to be old stuff. They played hard as a rock on the Stiff upper lip tour and loads of people would be delighted if Stiff upper lip was played on the next tour.

I think they get away with it because they tour so infrequently. If they were touring every year I'd say they'd mix it up more.

Although if they are playing the same place twice on the same tour (e.g. Dublin and Pubchestown) they really should change the set list
