I ran this in under 48 mins which I am very pleased with.
The conditions for running were great, uphill when the wind was at our back then flat when the wind was against us!
The race was well organised, though there was a panic when I arrived 10 minutes before the race started - the start line was nearly a mile away and one of the organisers had to drive a fleet of us to the start line :D
But overall a great race and fair play to the organisers!

    !

? No wind would be better but can't blame that on the race organisers ;)

@ meathcountysec.... For next year it would be worth letting people know how far it was to the start from the registration point and having the start better signposted... I wasn't running today but lots of people were asking me where the start was and were also shocked at how far it was from the reg hall. Very nice bunch of folks involved though and will run it myself next year.

Good race this well oraganised and fast course, i agree with digger's comments though. I live local enough so knew where the start was, a heads up at registration would have put everybody straight, a race truely woth doing though.

Thanks to all involved for yesterdays race.
Well marshalled, flat course, lovely tea and cake afterwards.
    Great value for the price.
Happy to get under 30 minutes.

Point taken. We had changed the course from last year and the start changed as a result. Apologies for any heart attack-inducing shock. We did manage to ferry a few stragglers out to the start in time though.

I did notice that ;), in fairness to you guys there were still a few just strolling along in the direction of the start as it literally approached 12!

We couldn't be too hard on them, what with the clocks going forward the previous night.
