Just got a set of 38mm carbon clinchers from BladeX on Aliexpress. On their way via FedEx. Slightly over 1300g with ceramic bearings so I hope I have them for Broadford this weekend. Haven't heard of that crowd.

I don't know these guys either. http://www.focus-carbon.com/ and http://www.farsports.cn/ are well established for their generic wheels.

A few of these Chinese companies are moving up the value chain. Couple of companies that are selling carbon wheels with DT Swiss hubs/Sapim CX ray spokes for around the $900 mark as well (http://www.chinacarbonbicycle.com/dt-swiss-240ssapim-cx-ray-farsports-700c-carbon-road-bicycle-wheels-38mm-tubular.html). They're shooting themselves in the foot though by having multiple websites for the same company which I think causes confusion as to how genuine they are. There is a good Chinese carbon wheel thread on roadbikereview for feedback. Seems to be mainly +ve and there are some group orders as well i think on weightweenies so if you're not in a rush you could get a 5-10% discount.
