Does anyone have any information as to why, at least according to a quick google, the 4770K will seemingly offer no performance increases over the 3770K and use more power? I wonder if the architecture overhaul will produce some unseen performance increases?…

Well it has better integrated graphics which might explain the higher power consumption.

I'm sure there will be some small performance increases as well.
