Hi,I'm doing a project on farm inheritance and I would really appreciate if anyone could answer the following survey :) thank you :) also if you have any suggestions for more questions then I would be happy to hear them :)

    20-30 30-40 40-50 50+

    2. What do you think is a suitable age to inherit a farm?

    20-30 30-40 40-50 50+

    3. Do you have a plan of who will inherit your farm?

    Yes No

    4. How do you think farms should be inherited?

    (a) The working child should inherit all the farm

    OR

    (b) It should be equally divided among all the children

    5. Do you think it is a good idea for farmers to have to receive a certificate in agriculture before inheriting a farm to relieve stamp duty?

    Yes No

    6. Do you think that if a woman inherited a farm that she would bring certain qualities to the farm that a man could not, for example, calf rearing?

    Yes No

    7. Do you think that farms should be inherited at a younger age so that it would increase productivity as the young farmer would bring modern ideas to farming?

I was approximately 30. Farmed part time for a good while before taking on the whole farming thing.
I'm female and think women can be alot better handling animals. My animals are all quiet, my father always had a few lunatics, and my grandfather before that.
Have 2 daughters, will probably be the youngest who will get the whole kit and caboodle as the other one won't get her hands dirty. Young one wants to go to Ag College and she comes out and helps even when the job is unpleasant - she is 11, plenty of time to change her mind otherwise.
Other idea will be to put the whole lot under trees.
Does that answer most of your questions?
