Hey Guys,

I'm new to the Forums and am looking for a few different gaming builds to have a look at :P. I am a game development student and have 800-1000 to spend on a computer. (I just bought a 28 inch monitor so that can be excluded from the build).

I want a powerful PC that can handle the latest games and software for content creation. These are the only things I really need the build for so sorry for the lack of Information here guys.

Had a quick look, couldn't find the template but here it is taken from someone else post. Just fill out this and the guys on here can aid you better with their expertise:


1. What is your budget?

2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? [Gaming/Internet]

3. Do you need a copy of Windows?

4. Can you use any parts from an old computer?

5. Do you need a monitor?

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future?

6. Do you need any of these peripherals?

7. Are you willing to try overclocking?

8. How can you pay? [Bank Transfer/Credit Card/Laser]

9. When are you purchasing?

10. If you need help building it, where are you based?

9. When are you purchasing? : in the next 2 months.

10. If you need help building it, where are you based?: Waterford.

Dunno why you're hijacking this thread but anyway the build is good. I'd only change that monitor to this one.

Ips monitors have superior picture quality over TN ones and it's only a little more.
