Arsenal need to win and put in a very good performance. An early goal and I can see them winning easily. If its still 0-0 at half time I can see frustration really starting to kick in.

Arsenal: Szczesny, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Monreal, Arteta, Diaby, Wilshere, Walcott, Giroud, Cazorla

Villa: Guzan, Lowton, Clark, Baker, Bennett, Westwood, Delph, Agbonlahor, Weimann, N'Zogbia, Benteke

Aston Villa team: Guzan, Lowton, Clark, Baker, Bennett, Westwood, Delph, Agbonlahor, Weimann, N'Zogbia, Benteke. Subs: Marshall, El Ahmadi, Holman, Sylla, Bowery, Dawkins, Lichaj.

Great, back to an inexperienced defence and weak midfield combo. Cue Bennett and Lowton getting turned inside out all afternoon and Clark and Barker trying to contain wave after wave of attacks.

Up front we look decent and N'Zogbia and Benteke are both bang in form but we have no real attacking options on the bench as Bent is injured (?) and Bowery couldn't hit a barn door.

This is not going to be pretty from a Villa point of view.

A pasting for Villa or a tight win. Or a draw...

Diaby starting instead of Ramsey - that's what it should have been against Bayern Munich.

Lots of space in midfield. Need to exploit it better.

Jenkinson having a good game so far

All streams seem to have gone down.

    A good or bad sign?!?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,501 ✭✭✭Fuzzy_Dunlop

Giroud's 1-2's and layoffs around the box are class.

Jack needs a right foot for occasions like that.

    no issue with my stream

All action first half and we are ahead thankfully.
Some of out passing is poor though.
Montreal has to stay out on his man and stop coming inside too. The danger is coming from that wing still.

We need another goal, Villa will definitely score in the second half!

The instance where Walcott and then Wilshere had loads of time on the ball in the box is a situation you have to score in. If you are given that much time and space it has to be a goal, or at least a shot on target, not worked all the way back out to the wing.

****ing typical. We dominate the second half and the opposition score in a breakway goal

FFS Czszney yet another mistake. My granny would have saved that.

He doesn't have the ability to. He has lost the dressing room and is tactically unaware of how a game runs.

Weve created nothing really in the second half.

70 minutes and no Rosicky or Podolski. Just give up Wenger

I don't think he has lost the dressing room the players do all seem to be still behind him but tactically he is inept.

Saying it since last season that Chesney is just not good enough!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,621 ✭✭✭Jaafa

The sheer amount of corners we've wasted.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,057 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

Giroud that was a sitter. Very poor.

Probably shouldn't be annoyed at the poor streams, **** knows how bad it would be to see these idiots properly.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,224 ✭✭✭✭Marty McFly

Teams like Villa in there current state should not be causing us problems if Villa take points of us twice this season says it all.
