He was a master inventor, artist, revolutionary and thinker....why has there never been anyone like him since?

Was he a glitch, a one off, surely not....

I invented the time machine in 2146. I'm heading back to the 1790s to get an early patent on it.

maybe there isnt great room these days for a famous inventor due to the large r and d departments of companys / countrys people no matter how brilliant they are get lost in the crowd to a degree unless you have a business head on you and form your own company or invent something truely mind blowing in your spare time

Da Vinci only drew he's inventions... paper and pencils are cheap....if the idea is big enough that all you need.

yes but im saying you wont be known for it if your part of a company or country's r and d process you will simply be another scientist/inventor who helped invent the 3d printer and the public will more than likely remember it was lexmark not an individual unless you have your name plastered all over it like dyson

Nikola Tesla was pretty unbelievable. Take 5 mins to have a look at this. It's a slightly overstated, but interesting look at some of his achievements, he was an impressive guy.

Here is another one; badass of the week.
