Cleaning bottles and cans before drinking

    Just sitting here having a can or two I always use a glass at home but if I'm out ill just drink from the bottle. Do people clean bottles or cans before they drink from them and what are the risks if you don't .

    I heard that if a rat pisses on a bottle and you drink from it, your face melts off like that guy in Indiana Jones and your ass falls off.

    I never drink from a can without wearing a condom tbh.

    I sterilise all my bottles in a steam cooker before touching them without gloves.

    If you're drinking Budweiser it's already rat piss so no point in cleaning...

    Seriously though... just pour into a glass/cup/mug/bowl or whatever is available if you're worried. Next thread please

    The cap actually covers were your lips go so bottles wouldn't need to be cleaned cans might be a different story though.
