Has anyone noticed how expensive the flight prices are to the USA this year??? It's over 3000 for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. I can't believe they have increased so much in the space of a year, what's going on? Aer Lingus is over 4000 euro how do they put bums on seats charging these prices, can't believe they're people out there paying this sort of money. Anyway was interested to see if anyone out there noticed this and what your thoughts were. By the way it's for the first two weeks in July.

Holiday Pirates have spotted cheap fares with Thomas Cook to Orlando, not great availability but might be worth checking out

    Hotel and car hire included.

I've seen really cheap fares to San Francisco/San Diego but it's off peak, it's probably cheaper than it's been for a while, I think they're discounting off-peak and bumping up the Summer prices when they know they'll sell most of the seats.

I found it the opposite. Really cheap this year. €370 return to Orlando with United in March and €410 return in September.

I am aware of that. They are the prices for when I was going. My sister got flights in July for €455 return which really is not that expensive at all for peak season. I fly over quite a few times a year and have noticed really cheap prices mainly with United this year.
