Merging like page and check in page on Facebook - it wont work!!

    Hi there,

    I have a "like" page on Facebook for my new business.
    I also created a "check in" page and now need to merge the two. I followed the advice on Facebook's help pages on how to do this but when I click to merge the two together, nothing happens. (edit page > update info > resources> merge duplicate pages).
    They are still two separate pages no matter how many times I go through the process.

    I have emailed into Facebook but wont get an answer naturally. Can anyone help me??
