    Howdo all ,( been a bit of a lurker/ throw in the odd comment to date) , first thread , just wondering does anyone have any idea on range of prices for above. Have a guy calling regular wanting to purchase for feed lot up north east and says he is paying best price. In comparison to last year even

    I'd agree. Go to the mart. Any year I've sold out of the yard I always regretted it later, wondering if I got screwed. Always felt happier if i went to the mart sith them. At least in the mart you'll know the true value. You can always bring them home.

    Going through our animals for the majority we pay more for private sales that we do in marts. You would think the opposite would be the case.

    We always sell private in yard, never been sorry always regretted going to mart, so sick of dealers claiming cattle
