If your stuck you can borrow mine for the day.Only have Khamsins on so you may need to throw on a decent set of race wheels. Wont be using it on Sun myself.

Might be interested in your CX frame and fork when you get a road frame if it fits me and has eyelets for mudguards...

Harmo was saying you road race on your CX bike...looks like someone put all talk in your tea that day :P

Iv done a most of the swords club races, it's grand except brakes are poor, and a little heavy and I don't need anymore disadvantage, think it might be a day for mtb looking at the forecast.

If you raced the swords league on it then you'll be grand ;) You won't need strong brakes or a light bike for Dundalk, the course is as flat as they come, http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/164995950

If you're looking for a road frame could see if this is still available...http://www.donedeal.ie/for-sale/bicycles/4399412. I have no affiliation with the seller.

are you allowed race in an open race with a cx bike? Maybe the OP should check with someone before going all the way up to dundalk only to be told its not allowed.

With the numbers expected in races over the next few weeks I'd say you'd get away with a nifty Honda 50.

Why would a CX bike not be allowed?
