Just wondering if any of you have any recommendations for a gauge for our diesel tank, the tank is locked in a shed so not that easy to put a stick in it to check the diesel level.

I have been looking at Apollo Ultrasonic €77 and Watchman €110 or would you just go with the manual visual tube one- just wondering what you would recommend.

the sonic watchman is expensive and you need a power socket for it BUT it is extremely convenient. I've one and definately recommend it. The signal won't travel over long distances I would imagine though.

To the best of my knowledge the signal travels at least a couple of hundred feet because I had a customer years ago that had one for her AGA oil tank!

You could also go for a 220 volt pump c/w meter and auto nozzle,Guide price 360.00 approx plus 23% vat.it will show individual fill plus a totaliser.makes the watch man look dear.

have a watchman. its very good. unfortunately the battery has run out on the sensor on the tank and I cant get the unit out of the tank to replace. Very annoying!

So just be smart when your fitting the unit.
