Hi all my PC (http://touch.boards.ie/thread/2056739814?page=1#post_80510947) all of a sudden isn't reaching the windows 7 account login screen.

I changed hdmi ports too see if that was the issue but I can't hear any windows load sounds when I turn it on so it's not something to do with the display.

Fans, HDD and stuff seem to be loading up fine when I turn it on.

    Any ideas? :?

are you getting anything on the screen at all? how was it last turned off (standby / hibernate etc?)?

Nothing shows up whatsoever. The HDMI channel usually displays a (720p) under the channel name as its loading but not doing it now.

Last shut down as a normal shut down, no updates installed during it or anything.

I wouldnt be ruling out something with the display at this point tbh - you should get a boot screen from the motherboard at least. Can the display be tried with something else? Using that same hdbi cable? xbox, laptop etc

Doing windows repair now, plugged HDMI into The HDMI slot for the GPU instead of the regular mobo slot and its working thus far.

    Ty!
