rethreading a fixed stud on a axle on a trailer

    hi guys
    i was hoping you could help me out here. i have a old car trailer but the problem i have is that the studs that the wheel sit on to are fixed on to the axle and really need to be rethreaded... im in the Dublin area and was wondering who could do this for me

    You could probably pick up a die handle and die for a tenner or so if you can't get anyone

    Are they actually fixed?

    They usually sit on a tapered spline and will hammer out and can be replaced (if you can find replacements).
