I'd buy five of them, demolish internal walls and turn into bowling alley.

No he's not. He's one of the most promising players in the UK at present ;)

From the looks of it , would only take the roll of a bowling ball to knock some of them down

    Buy one.

Open a UK bank account (as now a resident)
Get a UK licence (no penalty points over here)
Stay on UK number plates over

Use as a postal motel office!

    Total bargain :D

I used to live in Liverpool and most people there would not live in them areas if you gave away them houses for free. The city council emptyed them areas out at the end of the 90's start of the 00' and were planning to knock them all down.

Wonder what kind of people want to live there now

How far would these houses be from the city center?

Not far just behind the Royal Liverpool Hospital you could prob walk into town in 15 mins from there and be a lime street station

If enough 'normal' people bought them would they not be okay places to live after a few years?

The Irish price for this would be at least €2.

Anyway, interesting idea - and if the area is a total dump, it can't really get any worse.

the should do something similar with Dolphins Barn and St. Anthonys road in Rialto in south Dublin

Watch O' Leary tripling the price of Ryan Air ticket prices to Liverpool as soon as he gets wind that some Paddys might actually want to go there :D:D:D

Probably the only place in Europe you'd have to pay a tenant to rent your property!

Buy one, then as UK resident, declare bankruptcy. One year instead of twelve & no punitive redress.
