I just got all my parts for my HTPC today :) The one thing Im not sure of is how to set up the SSD for the OS (Windows 8) and XMBC (if possible) and the HDD for data (movies, games etc.)

    Any help would be appreciated!:D

I have the same on my HTPC. Start off by connecting only the SSD. Pop the OS disc into the DVD drive and run the installation. Once thats done you can connect your HDD and create a partition or partitions on it. Couple of very good guides here which are easy to follow. MS have a support page which goes through each step but it really is quite simple. I just have the one partition on each drive, the SSD is a 64GB (C: ) and the 2TB HDD (E: ).

Before installing the operating system just unplug the HDD so the operating system will install onto the SSD that's what a friend of mind did that had the same question and it worked out ok than when your finish installing the operating just plug it back it, you might have you go into your bios and set the Drive your operating system is on if your PC decides to try boot off the HDD for some reason now this didn't happen in my friend case but I read that it could happen so just keep that in mind.
