    Just turned on my wifi and my S3 began to download an update, it was about 40mb, anyone know what this is?

    4.2.2 was pushed by Google a few days ago. Not sure if the S3 is up to date but that might be what it is.

    Only Nexus devices like the Nexus 4, 7 and 10 and the original Nexus get the latest 4.2.2 Android Update. I'd say it's more likely a 4.1.2 or similar update. Go for it though. It's bug fixes and some minor improvements whatever version it is.

    I just checked & I'm still running 4.1.2. after the update and 4.2.2 would surely be much larger than 40mb....


    Its probably just a patch of some sort I'm guessing?

    I'm pretty sure it is something to do with a vulnerability with the processors in the S3.

    Got the update for my Galaxy Nexus. Now the Sky Go app won't work. FFS! :rolleyes:

    Just FYI, not intending to be smart but this was an issue with an updates before christmas also. Not Just latest update. Anything new on update or is it just bug fixes?

    Forgot to check sky go on mine!! Just checked there and its working
