Camera help - dreaded water

    Hi,

My Samsung Galaxy S3 fell down the toilet yesterday!!
Dried it out on the rad, first the touch screen didn't seem to work - aswell as the back key, but that is ok now.

When making calls I could only hear the other person on loudspeaker but that seems ok now too....

It's the camera - when taking pictures, it's so fuzzy.

There is a little circle on the right hand side of the phone and that seems to have a bit of condensation.

I uploaded all pics to my laptop last night for fear of the phone breaking.

Any advice would be great, thanks

You probably want to dry it out in a bowl of rice placed in a warm but not too hot place.
Drying it out on the radiator isn't ideal as its probably created condensation inside the phone and camera lens.

Rice is the best bet, get a bag of it and put phone in the middle of it. Leave it for a few days though don't expect a miracle overnight.

Also if you can source it drop it in pure alcohol. i know it sounds odd but the alcohol will displace all the water and will evaporate a lot quicker and IIRC won't short out anything either.

Patience, you need more! When you get your phone wet you want to leave it drying for a WEEK or more. Not overnight.
