Hi there, Im looking for someone to join me for a run/jog once a week in the Irishtown/Sandymount area. Bear in mind that I jog at a slow pace presently, at around 35-40 mins for a 5K, but I am trying to get fitter. I just think that jogging with someone else would make the experience all the more enjoyable. So, if you're interested get in touch! :)

I presume you weren't thinking of a running club but they are a brilliant place to meet runners. Don't be worried about your abilities. Crusaders AC are based in Irishtown and I've copied some of the blurb from their website below...

    http://www.crusadersac.org/

Crusaders Athletics Club is based in Irishtown Stadium in Dublin. We cater for adults and juveniles and for all levels of ability, from recreational runners, to regular competitors at road, marathon cross-country , and mountain races, right up to elite-level track & field competitions..

The magnificent Irishtown Stadium with its modern facilities and 8 lane track is a great location for your training. Located a stone's throw from the stadium is Sean Moore park, the nature reserve and the long beach front of Sandymount all of which provides our members with superb training options

    Adult Training Times

Tuesday: Irishtown Stadium meet on track at 6.30 for warm up with training starting after warm up
Thursday: Meet at reception Irishtown Stadium at 6.30 for training outside the stadium
Saturday: Phoenix Park at 10.00 Magazine Fort
NOTE: For those wishing to join the club come along to Irishtown Stadium on Tuesdays at 6.30 ready to go

Or if you're a lady you could join Runwithtina's improver lessons or charity running club which also is in the area http://runwithtina.com/
