I'm currently trying to move GPs but every one I phone in my area is not taking any new medical card patients. So, does anyone know of any GPs taking on new mc patients? I'm south city but don't mind a trek if the doctor is good (as my current GP sadly isn't). I'm not in a financial position to go private at the moment. Thanks.

Dr Morrison in Blackpool Bridge will take a medical card.

Have you tried the Park Family Practice on Friars Walk?

    It's next to Ballyphehane Park.

There's a chap on Glasheen Road I go to, Dr. O'Chuill (sp?), I found him to be rather excellent, although if the waiting room is any indicator so do a lot of people...
