    Hi Guys,

Heading to Berlin with the missus for the weekend, wondering if anyone knows any good rugby pub to watch the Ireland game in?

Staying near the main train station so can travel if necessary.

    Any advice appreciated.

I remember watching a game over 5 years ago in the Oscar Wild. It was standing room only. Sorry don't remember much else?

Yeah, the Oscar Wilde should be a safe bet for rugby, went there for Ireland-England in 2011.

Thanks guys, had a quick look and it's about 15mins on the train from our hotel so sounds like a plan.

The Leinsters Supporters club list the

Irish Pub in the Europa Centre, Tauentzienstrabe 9-12, D-10789, Berlin

as a place that is friendly to watch Leinster games so I'd imagine it's good for Ireland games too. Just ring ahead and check for yourself.

I'd recommend The Irish Times, Leipziger Straße 56, 10117 Berlin. I was only in there for football but they had loads of screens and 3 different matches on. It's also only across the road from the Spittelmarkt U-Bahn stop.

The Oscar Wilde will almost definitely have the rugby on. It's also pretty central, so easy to get to, but not everyone's cup of tea (too loud, too full etc...)

Belushi's http://www.belushis.com/bars/berlin should have it on (they show just about EVERYTHING sports) and I would definitely advise against The Irish Pub in the Europa Centre (I just don't like that place, too touristy, too expensive)

I was in the Oscar Wilde last year for the Ireland v Italy game; they had a big room down the back with loads of screens showing all the 6N games that day. Was full of Irish, English, Welsh, etc. It was really busy & good craic.
