    Hi,

Just looking for a bit of advice on this.

My policy is up for renewal on the 9th of march and my birthday is on the 31st of march.

this is really for next year when i will be hitting the 25 mark. but do you think they will take the month in to account when i am going for the open drive and all the other little things that become available when you hit 25?

the other option is to stop drivig gfor the 3 weeks.

i will be ringing around to ask that question but just wondering
    thanks

Ask your Insurer to extend your policy so it falls due for renewal after your birthday.
They should just charge a pro-rate additional premium.
you can then renew the policy for 12 months after your birthday.
    Should work.

I started my car policy with liberty in October and wasn't 25 untill Jan but the open drive came into use the day I hit 25(this excludes commercial vehicles, jeeps, people carriers, campers)but will cover you in a 250k super car 3rd party do check this as others may differ)
I did pay a slightly higher rate taking the policy out at 24 but iv 6yrs no claims and no points..

ask your insurance for age-rates as birthday coming up.. they will review this for you but it could have reverse imput too... if you current gain discount if parents are with same insurer then as 25yr old you deemed mature enuf not to claim mammy/daddy rates but the Driving other cars could be worth it.. if with axa send me PM for assistance
