This is free on amazon if I remember correctly, provided it's downloaded to Kindle (which can also be downloaded for free).

+1 on Overcoming Gravity by Steven Lowe - one stop shop for programming a bodyweight/gymnastics routine.

Got Lyle Mc Donald's Ultimate Diet 2.0 for some bed time reading, just finished it tonight. Comprehensive read and very clear explanation about stubborn fat loss. I'm sure it works but I doubt it's healthy.

'Science and Practice of Strength Training' by Zatiorsky and Kraemer. It's got science and graphs and strength training. If that's not a winning combination then you need to have a word with yourself.

I've tried every possible combination with it, the best I found was on the main carb day using lidl own brand puffed rice cereal with hazelnut milk and whey protein. Potatoes for the carb source were a close second but I found myself waking dehydrated on the second carb day. I tried using a fair amount pastries and cakes for the loading and found it hit and miss one week I wake looking awesome next week I'd eat the exact same and wake looking ****.

I read the intro and found it very hard to read, it was so self congratulatory. Does the rest of the content differ?

To answer your question, I can't really tell. I just remember the tips I picked up, to be honest. I don'tthink it was overly self-congratulatory or else I might have found it more difficult to get through.

And I'm very discerning. I have many leather-bound books...all of them good :)

What's that? You know I don't speak Spanish.

I often struggle to get past the tone of some fitness books, maybe i need to just skip the intro.

    :D

Skim through any intro and see if there's anything worth reading properly. But there usually isn't.

A bit off topic of book recommendations.. but were you able to maintain that level of leanness after your cut?

I've probably run it about ten times now for different time scales, 4- 10 weeks, the longer periods being divided in 6 week bursts. I normally can maintain a decent level of leaness, the lowest I got was ~6%, measured 12 point calipers, I didn't try and maintain that.

I can normally hold a genuine 10% with no real issue if I keep a rudimentary grasp on food intake.

I've attached my cheat sheet from the book, its a bit all over the place but have a look.

Actually makes sense, prob because I've just read it. Serious amount of planning I'd say. It's an intriguing read. I'm already lean but might consider it in the new year just to see what happens.
