    Hi, I'm looking to buy a Mercian frame or complete bike, ideally I'm looking for a strata speciale but hey beggars cant be choosers so will consider any gents bike. I raced one of these in the 80s as a junior and foolishly gave it away. If you have one let me know and I will be sure to give it a good home

    Sorry I don't have a Mercian to offer - my Olympic is my daily steed - but I'll certainly keep my eyes open. Most of us used bikes too big for us back then, are you sure it's a 23 your after?
