Thinking of getting a stove installed

    Hi
We're planning on getting a stove put into our fireplace a 5kw one, we recently had a chimney fire which turned pretty nasty (took out half the roof) we'd be getting in a flexi flue thing as well, it wont be heating any rads either, we'd be burning mainly briquettes and an odd bit of turf.

So my question is this, can these flexi flues catch fire and should we be aware of any other dangers?

    Thanks :)

Ok that's a good enough reason I suppose who is doing the work for you.

The reason I ask is because if you have to ask questions here your not been properly informed by the guy doing it which he should explain all to you. Stoves are serious and have to be done correctly as do the flues also. What grade is your flue.

To be honest I wouldn't know the flute grade, I'm asking on behalf of the mother see, and its her brother in law who said he'd do it, it's all very up in the air at the minute i guess you could say
