Sharp aquos won't stay powered on

I've a sharp aquos mounted on the wall. Got it about 7 years ago (when it cost nearly 1200!! :o )

Anyways the wife was watching it this morning and it just switched itself. Not to standby - completely off. Red mains light wasn't on. When you press the power switch on tv itself, you can hear the switch click, the standby red light comes on and then the green on light. And then off and two seconds later you can here switch as if someone turned it off. If I stand there holding the button the tv will stay on but that ain't feasible.

Any suggestions as to whether its something simple? Or whether its leading to other problems? Worst time to happen as wife is pregnant and getting induced on Tuesday and I'm working tomorrow so repairs are tricky!

    Thanks
