Scratch repair

    Have a smallish scratch on my monitor, I've tried tooth paste (only thing I already had) and it's still very visible. right not I've just used some Vaseline to hide it but it's no all that hidden.

    Anyone know what solvent/polish would work well.

    girlfriend recommends clear nail varnish. if it doesnt work you can remove it at least with acetone.

    Tried it, and acetone is in nail varnish remover.

    Was at it for ages but it's not any better.
