I'm going to be buying a new monitor.

I'm thinking of getting a Dell UltraSharp U2312HM. Is it worth the extra €70 euro for the U2412M?

Or could someone recommend another one?

I plan on picking up the U2412M next month. Good reviews and based on recommendations from users on this site made up my mind. The monitor is a higher res model than Full HD Monitors.

I just bought 2 of the U2412M from laptopsdirect. Seem the best and if you can get for around 230-270 is great deal

I use a U2412M, and it's great. I can't remember what the panel in the 2312 is like, but I'd direct you to TFT Central, and see if they have a review up of the 2312 (I know they have one for the 24). A good bit of reading there, but they go into great detail with the monitors they test.

Macker, the 2312 is a full HD monitor. All that means is that it's a 1920x1080 res panel.

Oh, and that's one other thing worth mentioning. The 23 is a 16:9 aspect ratio monitor, where-as the 24 is 16:10 (1920x1200 vs. 1920x1080) So you get a bit more vertical space with the 24.

What do you think of the Asus PA248Q 24.1?

I haven't seen one in person, but everything I've read makes me think it would be a half step up from a 2412. The USB 3.0 hub in particular is a really nice touch, because I don't really use the ports on my case any more, what with the monitor ports being so close and all.

I think I'll go for the U2412M then. That Asus is a bit out of my price range,
