Hi wondering if anybody can help. I have an 02 Renault Clio 1.1. Starts up fine, drives fine. Recently I've noticed I turn the heater fan on and it works ok, both hot n cold, but when the car engine heats up it cuts out. The engine doesn't seem to overheat or anything. Other thing I noticed is a the carpet on the passenger side floor is wet aswell as the back seat. Any help wud be great

Heater radiator is leaking by the sounds of it.

Check your coolant resevoir its probably low in coolant.

You could but it depends on what is in the cooling system have you had the car long do you know if it had coolant or just water in it.

Check your resevoir level if its very low have a look for external leaks.

The only way to be 100% sure is to do a pressure test but that requires special equipment.

Yeah the coolant doesn't seem to be dropping at all, I did notice a puddle under the car alright. Could a leak be effecting the whole lot? Like i said the blower only stops when then engine temperature is at the middle
