New Road Bike with a trade in

Hi Folks Looking to get a new road bike on the back to work scheme ,I also have an 18 month old Giant Rapid 4 to trade in , will most shops take a trade in or am I better off selling the Giant rapid seperatly , Dublin city or north side if anyone want to reccomend a shop Cheers
