    He was involved in 'reconstruction' efforts in south Lebanon, alongside Hezbollah.

    Likely Mossad.

    Officer from the military of a proxy power with its fingers in Middle Eastern countries, is killed by his enemies.
    Not exactly difficult to work out, is it. Nor is it a conspiracy. The Middle East is still a cold war theatre and has been since 1942.

    God only knows how much he helped hezbollah keep south lebanon as their own little state. Odds on it was a mossad op.

    Sad thing is, so long as Iran/Syria and Israel are having this little "non war" Lebanon is never going to be able to prosper
