Laptop having some connection issues

For the last week now, I've had a problem with my laptop, and internet connection. Randomly, it seems, usually after a few hours, my internet connection gets a bit, screwy. It doesn't load any website, except for google, youtube, and twitter. It may load others, I just don't know them, however, it doesn't load any other website I try, it does this with any browser I use, so it's no fault of a browser, disconnecting and reconnecting my router has no effect on it, the only fix, is to restart my laptop, which surely means there's some problem with my laptop, or some software on it.

Now, whenever I start up my laptop, I get an error message, the message is:

    Microsoft .NET Framework

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click
Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If
you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

The type initializer for 'TVServices.Core.SystemSettings' threw an
    exception.

I'm not sure if this error message is related at all to my other issue, but it started happening just a couple of days before. On the error message, there is a Details drop down which has, well... details, if you'd like/need me to post the details, or any other information, just ask. The error box closes if I click Quit or Continue.

It's been about a week now and it's still happening every now and then, only solution is to still restart pc. As well as not being able to load most web pages, I seem to be unable to open programs that require an internet connection to open (Ones that auto-check for updates etc.). Anything I am downloading before this crash, or whatever it is, continues to download as normal..... and I stay connected to an IRC client also.

Does it connect to the network and give you limited access? Is there a little yellow triangle over the signal strength icon?
