start up problem

    Not sure if i'm in the right section with this but here it goes. Turned on the laptop this morning and it ran as normal ""please wait" and then this,Image0761_zpsa5ab6fb4.jpg no cursor appeared or no section to enter my password to get to the into my destop. Does anyone know what is the problem or how i can fix it thank's.

    Power on and hold down F8 see if you can get it to start in safe mode.

    thank's people, restarted it in safe mode then got in and re started it again perfect many thank's.

    Your event log will shed some light on what might have caused it.
