    Hi,

I am about to expand my family and need to get a seven seater. I have a budget of approx. €15 - €20k but could go a little higher if pushed for the right car. Would probably like to stick to cars from 2009 and younger. Definitely diesel too as I drive about 25k km a year.

Do you need 7 seats and a boot, or 5 seats, and 2 occasional seats that take up the boot space?

    Ford S-Max or Galaxy.

5 and 2 would probably suffice

Grand Scenic is hard to beat, quality and reliability on the current model leagues ahead of previous generation.

Looked at the S-Max and Galaxy but they seem to be a bit pricier than other models. Are they worth the extra money?

Peugeot 5008, 2011, cost 21k last summer. 3 full car seat, two extra when necessary. Plenty of extras and 20k km on clock. Very good on diesel. Didn't set the pulse racing when we got but very happy with it. Good drive too and good safety features which were priceless when we wrote off our previous car!

Would find it very hard to justify extra cash for S Max!
