nota chance, i find the fact they ask you to pay for yourself to go over to work is a joke.

11 years in omac and i havent gone yet.

Most units pay a portion of the members trip. My unit pays 1/3 of the cost per member, as you spend approximately 1/3 of your time working. I think that's fair. Until you've gone, you don't know what your missing. It doesn't seem like work at all. Definitely a fantastic experience for any member.

if you book early it would be very cheap. otherwise hotels your talking bout 350 for the week uness your sharing with someone. flights can be 100 -150 well worth going over at least once. havent gone in a few years as i was let go from last job and doing a course at present so wont have the funding this year

I know the trip is over for this year but I am wondering how do I go about going next year. I am a member of the Order of Malta just over a year and cannot recall ever been told how to go about signing up to go to Lourdes. I am of course strongly considering going in 2014 before getting to grips with up skilling to a new clinical rank.

Feel free to PM me if you do not want to reply in the open forum.
