'Boardsing' is the name I give to browsing and posting on boards.ie (you see what I did there? Yes? My friend? You see?).

Like I say in the title, I consider it a hobby of mine. Now I have other hobbies and interests too of course, but boardsing is one of them.

As hobbies go, compared to say, stamp collecting or cycling or what have you, I think it's quite a good one. (Nothing wrong with those two things either or course).

I am just curious about what people think of this way of looking at using boards? Would you think of your use of the site the same way? Is boardsing one of your hobbies? Or do you think it's weird as fukk?

It's a great way to pass time, entertaining, annoying but funny at times.

It definitely a hobby for some on here. If you have 10 or 20k posts raked up in couple of years, hobby is a nicer word to use than obsession!

Boards used to be a form of escapism from work, now I'm trying to find work to do, to escape from boards.

    :(

I honestly only use Boards when I am ridiculously bored in work... Great time passer :)

You will never find me on boards at the w.end, I have better things/hobbies to be doing

Hobby horsing is a hobby as is capturing and training a hobby (although that hobby is so difficult it might be considered a task as opposed to a hobby).

    But not boardsing.

'Tis not a hobby, 'tis an irritant.
