    Hi All,

Thinking of taking a short leisurely hike up one of the Wicklow peaks this week, possibly Tonlagee.

Has anyone been up lately? What are the conditions like for fairly amateur walkers? Very boggy; any snow etc?

    Thanks.

I haven't been up Tonlagee lately, but all around the Sally Gap is sodden at the minute. No snow, just waterlogged. The last week has been pretty miserable with the wind and rain, but that's seems to have died down a bit today.

Wet, very wet :D There was some snow still on the summit of Lug and some of the lower slopes last weekend, but probably gone by now.
