    amd 3800+ x2

    asus x800xt 256mb

    1.5gb samsung ram

    350w psu

    what could i run ?

    In terms of games? The graphics card is pre DirectX 9.0c, and Shader Model 3, so it rules out anything with that as the minimum specs.

    Anything DirectX 9.0b and below should be fine.

    What are you looking for in particular?

    would it run farming simulator 2011
    with no lag

    You'd be looking at games 2006 or earlier. It might play a couple of more recent ones but not many, I could be wrong though!

    I didn't know if people actually played those games or not.

    PC System Requirements

    Minimum:
    OS: Microsoft Windows XP, Vista and 7
    Processor: 2.0 GHz Intel or equivalent AMD processor
    Memory: 1 GB RAM
    Graphics: Nvidia Geforce 6800 Series, ATI Radeon X850, S3 Chrome 430 GT or better (min 256 MB VRAM)
    Hard Drive: 1 GB free hard drive space

    You easily exceed the CPU requirements. Graphics card says X850 but the X800XT was the high end of the X800 spectrum so it's pretty close to the various X850 flavours and you meet the 256GB requirement. I'd say it would run okay. Minimum specs are usually a little over the actual minimum and imply what you need for it running smoothly.

    Sure those cards were still on sale, popular and nearly top of the line in 2006 and games don't revert to new technology as soon as the hardware supports it, otherwise we'd all be upgrading the moment the new technology is out (which wouldn't happen and the games companies would be gone bust).
    You could actually run many games - e.g., source engine games should work fine, even including portal 2.
    However, not having directX 9.0c capabilities is somewhat an issue as many games in recent years have placed this as their minimum, with newer games dispensing with v9 altogether.

    You'd be surprised, it's hugely popular after some YTer's posted videos (yogcast for example, posted a video and the FS team on Facebook said they recorded a 500% jump in sales since the video!)

    I reckon it should be ok. My friend plays it on an Intel HD with no issues so the x800 should be enough.
