A few in lamb ewe lambs made a pig of them themselves on meal on me (3), bag fell down off bale and they got it opened. Gave them some soda bread last night. is there anything else to give them? Could they abort?

had a bad case of it with a calf last year, vet gave the calf some type of bi-carbonate drip i think he called it, I also used milk of magnesia which someone on this forum suggested and it definately helped i felt

Spoon of bread soda should work though it will take them a few days to come right

i would give them some glycerine as well to keep their energy up, stops them getting twin lamb disease. some guys also dose them with an egg to keep some protein into them if they are near lambing. they would also respond to some calcium especially if carrying twins
