I mean really, this is so funny! One of the biggest scumbags to ever come out of Ireland, (along with his best friend Lowry), objects to someone calling him out on his motivation in a humanitarian crisis, and he comes across as purer than the driven snow!

He already controls quite a section of the media in this country. The rest was controlled by FF till 2011 (RTE and Miriam and the gang).

Seriously though, who does he think he's impressing with this big crusade?

Denis, you will never be respectable or respected in this country, no matter how much money you have or how many media outlets you own. You will never take over media in this country, you are not Berlusconi! You are complete and utter scum, to be rubbed off the end of my shoe like something that my dog did on his daily walk.

Go away and stay away from this country, nobody wants you, nobody needs you, and you will never acheive that thing that you crave most from the Irish people - respect and a sense of legitimaticy.

You are hated here now, we don't care that you pay 1/2 Trapps wages. We've had enough of corruption in this country! Stay away!

Something misleading in the Daily Mail?

    Surely not?

He gets really upset by people criticising him. It's a deep burn, cuts him to the core.

OP should pray he doesn't. He'll be dragged straight to court for defamatory remarks.

Probably not. But wanted to rant because he annoys me so much. Sick to my teeth of the mainstream respect and media exposure people like HIM (can't even say his name anymore) get

Any man who sports an 8 year old boys side-parting hairdo can't be all bad.

He should don a little pair of shorts too, he'd be adorable.

I've seen him in shorts - 'adorable' is not the word that springs to mind!

Schnooks you can't use bords to say bad things about Denis. If his stooges alert him to your outrage He will attack and destroy bords for letting you say bad thing about him.

To protect themselves bords will self censor. Wait and see. Bords are the good guys but we are all powerless in a country where the law can be bought by the highest bidder.

The problem is with the words " his motivation". Unless Denis O'Brien has been recorded explicitly laying out his motivations for doing something, then no-one can guess as to his motivations and then claim that guess as fact. It would be a bit like me claiming that the motivation behind the op's post is pure jealousy of O'Briens power and wealth, when I could never be 100% sure of that unless the op admitted to it.

Typical Daily Mail article and I'm glad he won, he maybe repulsive, but instead of reporting what happened, they reported what they think happened.
