    good choices, however I would choose 4GB of RAM at 1866 since its supported by your motherboard. The reason I would go with only 4GB is because (I still dont know which Windows you planning to use) Windows will not recognize more then that.

    Isn't it a 64 bit processor? It'll accept 8 gig no problem.

    Your version of windows needs to be 64 bit to address more memory.

    Yeah I already have Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit and I already have a graphics card too.

    You can save about a fiver getting RAM from memoryc:

    Another consideration might be to get an athlon 640 which is just over £20 cheaper.

    There's not a major difference between this and the phenom once you overclock and you could push some money towards a future upgrade. The main difference is the L3 cache in the phenom, and the phenom might overclock a small bit further.

    Edit: Or get a CPU on adverts. I see a 965 on there.
