    Hi,

I am only recently out of a treatment centre which I was there for 10 months. When going to an interview I will be asked what I have been doing for last 10 months. I am not sure If I should be honest with them or make up a story as in if I tell them I have an addiction problem they will more likely take someone else for the role? I cant use the excuse that I was looking for a job as There are a few jobs out there for what I do and I shouldnt be unemployed for 10 months.

Any advice in what I should say in interview is appreciated.

    Cheers!

Perhaps say you were just ill, glandular fever or something like that. Can go on for months. Honesty is usually the best policy, but all employers are different.

Say you were travelling, always the best one, decide on a story where you were and have it together going in. Will they check your passport if so pick within Eu if not the world is your oyster, oz, us etc.

Depends on the role; if it involves money and you got an addiction problem and don't tell them about it I can see bad things down the line.
