    Hi all,

I'm part of a group organising a college black tie ball in march and we're trying to find a pub/club to have afters in!

The ball itself is in Clontarf castle but ideally we'd be looking for city centre to have the afters! Has anyone any ideas/recommendations for places?

    There'd be about 100 people, from 18-22!

    Thanks!

What time have you booked Clontarf Castle until? Have you got a bar extension?

We're there until 1 I think. We looked at the late bar licence but it was €650 for an hour and we decided it wasn't worth the money.

Last year we went to Prive in Dun Laoghaire which was perfect, so we're looking for something along those lines!

Ok, so thats 12.30 last orders, 1 o'clock kicking out time. Tbh, I think ye'll find it difficult to get a place to take ye at that time. Legally, the latest Alcohol can be served is 2.30am. By the time you have everyone loaded into buses/taxis and out to another venue, it would be 2am.

Sorry I cant be of more help

At a black tie event last year, after party was in the nughtclub downstairs I think on Dawson Street opposite the Mansion House - cant remember the name but was good for that sort of event. Organise cabs for 12/12.30 though to get everyone moving.
