2002 Nissan primera fog lights

    Hi guys car went for nct and one of a few small failures was the rear fog lights I thought it was only a matter of changing bulbs but the bulbs seem fine , is tail light and fog light and brake light all the same bulb or whats the story with it ,or is it a wiring problem i did wire a trailer socket a while back. any advise much appreciated thanks

    Tail light, fog light and brake light are 3 separate bulbs.

    Thanks CiniO got it sorted problem was hitch was wired wrong and brake light came on where fog light was it took me a while to figure out why i had 3 brakelights and no fog light, thick i know, just a matter of changing a wire.

    are you sure? i thought the tail and stop/brake light was one bulb?

    In some cars (mostly older) there was.

    But 2002 Primera (assuming it's P12 model) have them separately (I know as I had a car like that some time ago).
