Hi all, looking to get genuine HD freesat+ box would love to go for one with freetime but I'm not sure if its worth the hassle with IP etc dont really know what I'm doing in that regard. I can set up box to sat no problem but i'd be a dummy around ip thingys. Is it easy ? Have ethernet connection in place but thats as for as my tech know how stretches but I'm willing to learn the rest !Anyone any advice or experience with freetime ? And then leaving freetime aside whats the best HD Freesat box out there and what should be avoided ? Many Thanks :o

The Humax Foxsat is a brilliant box. I have had one for three years and it's been trouble free. The colour is actually better than my Sky +box.
Humax now have a Freetime version available but with an Irish Ip you will be unable to avail of the OD content.
I have my Foxsat connected to the Internet and I have Itv Player but BBC Player is blocked.

+1 on the Humax foxsat. I have mine since August 2009 and it is still brilliant and works like a treat. Still the best bit if kit I ever bought.

Never really set it up with Ethernet connection, never saw the need to be honest.
