    Folks,
I think this is a really worthy cause (they hope to put in a special unit for kids in WRH with cystic fibrosis - im no doctor but something along the lines of this helps kids as suffering from CF in some sort of way...its important anyway)

    http://www.mycharity.ie/event/waterfordcysticfibrosis/

they need 200k, its a lot of money but Waterford people really stepped up providing that cancer counselling place near WRH (SOLAS Centre - that was about 1million) and we can do it again. Fair play to (whoever they are) all involved.

PS yes you would think the govt would be paying for things like this but we all know the situation, lack of €, not caring about WRH, Waterford bla bla bla....it looks like we need to step up. give whatever you can, if you cant afford anything tell your friends.

This government has a lot to answer for, wasting money on all sorts and leaving it to a small group of people to raise this kind of money so that their children might have some comfort when they are sick. Hospitals and especially children's health should not be skimped on full stop.
