I have the chance to pick up an iPad 3 (wifi only), in great condition for 450 euros..

    Is this a good deal?

I've been looking to upgrade my ipad1 for a while now.

How much would my 64gb iPad 1 (wifi) be worth?

No its not in my opinion.

Should have a look on the Refurb store. They are €475 with a full years warranty and will be literally
    brand new from Apple.

IMHO no, not when a brand new iPad 4 is only €509.

Sorry, i took the seller up wrong, the Ipad is actually a 64Gb ipad 3, priced at 450.

    any thoughts?

apple refurbs in the 64GB WIFI only arent available, but with 3g the refurbs are 689.

it looks like i have a decent deal here.

Will you use the 64gb though. The 64gb wifi is 569 so for te extra 100 I'd get it with the warranty, I know it's out of stock now but check every few days

If they were literally brand new, they'd be selling them as brand new.

They're refurbs, therefore they're "as good as new" or "like new".

    Pedantic Pat.

As far as I know the replace the outer cosmetics so they are in perfect condition.

The outer shell and screen are replaced with new item, so to the eye, they are literally brand new IMHO.
