The SETI Institute are looking for suggestions for names for Pluto's 2 smallest moons, currently called P4 and P5. How about Zig and Zag!

Looks like Vulcan is going to run away with one of the names anyway.

    Vulcan wins.

Though Astronomers have the final say so hopefully they follow the boring P4, P5 etc and save Vulcan for something worthy.

wouldn't surprise me if the Trekkies voted for it.

The same geniuses that got the first shuttle named Enterprise even though it was the only one that didn't go to space

This can only mean that something worthy of the name Vulcan will be discovered soon

It has nothing to do with the Trekkies.

In mythology Vulcan is a cousin or nephew of Pluto.

BBC didn't print the full story either and went with the Trekkie route,----lazy.

The two top names picked for P4 and P5 are Cerberus and Vulcan. They are logical choices as the follow the relationship between Pluto, Charon and Nix.
